The Sales Lead Generation Specialist will be accountable for ensuring that their work is carried out accurately, safely and efficiently each day – exceeding expectations with a commitment to always putting western Canadian farmers at the centre of their efforts.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Travel within territory 80% of time on the job, a company vehicle will be provided.
  • Develop new business within an established territory and identify appropriate customers within the target market.
  • Follow up on leads and conduct research to identify potential prospects.
  • Interacting with customers and introducing them to AgraCity.
  • Gathering farm profile to be submitted to AgraCity sales team.
  • Perform customer satisfaction reviews.
  • Organize speaking events and town hall meetings within territory.
  • Participate and assist in organizing AgraCity tradeshows across Western Canada.
  • Continuously increasing knowledge of AgraCity’ s products.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications or related field would be an asset.
  • Experience driving in rural road conditions in required.
  • 1 – 3 years of inside sales experience is a plus.
  • Previous agriculture industry experience would be considered an asset.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships.
  • Exceptional English written and verbal communication skills as well as listening skills.
  • Experience with public speaking considered a strong asset.
  • Ability to communicate effectively on the phone.
  • Strong organizational, time management and planning skills.
  • Self-motivated individual with a strong drive to achieve results.
  • Must have an excellent driving record and submit a drivers abstract.
  • Must be able to provide proof of full vaccination again Covid-19.
  • Possess a Canadian Driver’s License and be legally entitled to work in Canada.
