What is your job title?

I am the Northern Manitoba rep for Agracity.

What do you do with AgraCity?

My job with AgraCity includes sales, customer service in the territory as well as handling any performance concerns on any of Agracity’s products.

Where did you grow up?

I grew up on a small mixed farm near Clear Lake, Manitoba.

Where do you live?

I live in Rossburn, Manitoba

What is the territory that you cover?

My territory covers north of the #16 highway to Swan River, west to the Saskatchewan border and east to Lake Manitoba.

What do you like about working with AgraCity?

The best thing I like about Agracity is the forward thinking plus the amount of experience many of my colleagues have. It is an exciting time as we continue adding new products to our portfolio and the exciting thing is we are just getting started! With all the experience in the company there are many “tools in our shed” and a question never goes unanswered (usually with a story behind it)! Agracity is a team where we have people just starting out in the industry and we also have people like myself that have been in the industry for a while but yet everyone is treated with the same respect, just like family should be.

What do you think is the biggest challenge facing farmers in western Canada today?

The biggest challenge for Ag producers right now is just about everything. The politics around the world affect trade which in turn makes markets very subject to rapid change. Also the high cost of inputs compared to commodity prices which makes ROI very marginal. I am proud to be working for a company that can truly offer value to the producer right where it is needed most -the bottom line.

What hobbies do you have when you are not working?

I enjoy outdoor sports such as hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. I also enjoy restoring vehicles and farm machinery.

What else would you like AgraCity customers to know about you?

I always remind all my current customers and any future ones that my phone is always on and that I am here to learn about your operations and to help and assist in improving your operation in any way I can.
