MIXING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Ensure spray tank is clean. In-line strainers and nozzle screens should be clean & 50-mesh or coarser.
  2. Fill the spray tank 1/2 full of water, begin agitation and continue throughout mixing and application process.
  3. Add the required rate of Himalaya and continue agitation until product is fully dissolved.
  4. Add the required amount of broadleaf herbicide.
  5. Add the required amount of surfactant, complete filling tank with balance of water, and apply.
  6. If application is stopped prior to completion, re-suspend spray solution by full agitation prior to commencing spraying again.

UNDERSTANDING PERFORMANCE

  • Optimal control occurs when applied between 12°C and 24° C in warm moist growing conditions when weeds are small. Reduced activity will occur at temperatures less than 8° C or more than 27° C.
  • Use higher water volumes for thicker crop canopy or heavier weed pressure.
  • Typical symptoms (discoloration) of dying weeds may not be noticeable for several day to 2 weeks after application, depending upon growing conditions. Control of weeds may take 3-4 weeks.
  • Frost 3 days before or after application may reduce weed control and crop tolerance.
  • Weed control may be reduced during stress conditions or if weed populations are heavy or too far advanced.
  • Wheat exposed to water-logged or saturated soils, or temperature extremes such as heat or freezing weather, or drought, low fertility or plant disease at application time could show unacceptable injury symptoms. Weed control also may be reduced by these same conditions.
Always read and observe all label directions including rates, restrictions, and grazing and harvest limitations.
*Supported by AgraCity under PMRA tank mix guidelines. When applying tank mix combinations, read and observe all label directions for each product used in the tank mix, and follow the more stringent label precautionary measures for mixing, loading and applying stated on both product labels.
