Understanding Performance

  • Consult the product label for application rates and water volumes for all crops and diseases.
  • Fusarium head blight risk is greater when the weather is warm and wet at the flowering to soft dough stages. Consult the provincial disease risk maps.
  • Fusarofungicidehaspreventativeandcurativeproperties but works best if applied at the onset of disease.
  • Good coverage is essential for effective disease control.
  • For fusarium head blight, ensure thorough coverage of all wheat heads for optimal suppression. Improved spray coverage of heads may be achieved by using nozzles designed to spray in two directions.
  • Do not apply Fusaro more than once per crop season. Avoid applying multiple fungicides within the same group during the same crop year to delay the development of resistance.
