Understanding Performance

  • Consult the product label for uses, application rates and water volumes for all crops and diseases.
  • Tornado Pro fungicide has preventative and curative properties, but works best if applied preventatively at the onset of disease
  • Good spray coverage is critical for effective disease control. Use higher water volumes with dense crop canopies
  • Apply Tornado Pro only once per crop season. If disease persists or weather conditions are favourable to disease, apply another fungicide product 10-14 days later. Avoid applying products containing the same fungicide groups as Tornado Pro to reduce the risk of resistant forms of disease.
  • For best disease control, use Tornado Pro as part of an integrated disease management approach including resistant seed varieties, crop rotation, and other such management practices.
  • Do not apply Tornado Pro when the crop is flowering. Applications of fungicides from the strobi class are thought to increase the risk of fusarium head blight if applied during flowering.
